This is absolutely doable! We would just need a sketch with all the dimensions as well as material thickness. For your convenience we could cut holes on the side for the screws, just let us know how big we would need to make it. For materials you have a great selection to choose from.
You may select lucite, plexiglass, polycarbonate, standard acrylic or museum quality. All of these materials are sturdier then glass without sacrificing optical clarity. They all also offer varying levels of scratch and shatter resistance as well as UV protection, which is crucial for protecting items such as snake skin.
